Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement: Notes

Removal Procedure
Front Compartment Front Sight Shield(2) - Remove - Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement
- Plenum Drain Valve - Remove - Plenum Drain Valve Replacement
Disconnect the cable end retainer (1) from the latch.
- Release the hood primary latch release cable from the 2 retainer (2).
Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable end retainer from the inside handle (1).
Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable grommet (1) from the dash panel.
- Attach mechanics wire to the hood primary latch release cable (2) and pull the cable out.
