Preliminary Procedure Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement
1	Windshield Washer Pump Procedure Using the appropriate tools, place under each side of the windshield washer pump, twist and lift in opposite directions to disengage the pump from the windshield washer solvent container and grommet.
2	Windshield Washer Pump Grommet NOTE: Install a NEW grommet. Do NOT reuse old grommet. Procedure Carefully squeeze the grommet while using a flat-bladed tool to pry upward under the edge of the grommet. When installing the grommet, use full strength windshield washer fluid as a lubricant on the grommet. Push the grommet into the windshield washer solvent container until fully seated.

Procedure

Windshield Washer Pump Grommet

NOTE:

Install a NEW grommet. Do NOT reuse old grommet.

Procedure

Carefully squeeze the grommet while using a flat-bladed tool to pry upward under the edge of the grommet.
When installing the grommet, use full strength windshield washer fluid as a lubricant on the grommet.
Push the grommet into the windshield washer solvent container until fully seated.
