Terminal Removal Procedure

- NOTE:
The removal and installation procedure for the 1.5 and 2.8 terminals are the same.
Release the terminal position assurance (TPA) by using a small screwdriver to pry the TPA up and away from the connector body, until fully released as shown above.
Gently insert removal tool J-38125-215A into the terminal service hole of the terminal being serviced as shown above.
- Push straight down into the hole to release the terminal locking tab.
Once the locking finger is disengaged, gently pull on the wire to remove the terminal from the connector.
