Installation Procedure

    Electric Belt Drive Rack and Pinion Steering Gear (1) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

  2. Steering Gear Bolt (3) - Install NEW [2x]
  3. Steering Gear Nut (2) - Install and hand tighten [2x]
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  4. Steering Gear Bolt (3) - Tighten [2x] - Electric Belt Drive Rack and Pinion Steering Gear Replacement (AWD)

    Front Stabilizer Shaft (2) - Install

  6. Front Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Clamp Nut (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Stabilizer Shaft Replacement (AWD)

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Front Lower Control Rear Link - Left Side and Right Side (3) - Install [2x]

    8. CAUTION:

    This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

  8. Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install NEW [2x]
  9. Front Lower Control Arm Rear Nut - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and hand tighten [2x]
  10. Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Tighten [2x] - Front Lower Control Rear Link Replacement (AWD)

    Front Lower Control Front Link - Left Side and Right Side (3) - Install [2x]

    12. CAUTION:

  12. Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install NEW [2x]
  13. Front Lower Control Arm Front Nut - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and hand tighten [2x]
  14. Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Tighten [2x] - Front Lower Control Front Link Replacement (AWD)

    Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle (1) - Install - Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (AWD LGY)
