Preliminary Procedure It is only necessary to lower the headlining. Only do those steps in the headlining procedure that will allow access to the component being removed. Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With C3U) , or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Without C3U)
1	Roof Rail Rear Seat Position Reading and Courtesy Lamp Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Unlock the lamp backing plate clip by sliding it forward. Release the retaining tabs.

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Unlock the lamp backing plate clip by sliding it forward.
Release the retaining tabs.
