Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
Do NOT reuse the fuel feed intermediate pipe. If the fuel feed intermediate pipe fittings are loosened or the pipes are removed, the pipes MUST be replaced.
Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe (1) - Install NEW
- Slide fuel feed pipe fitting nuts (3) back along fuel feed intermediate pipe (1) to reveal the formed ends (2) of the fuel feed pipe.
- Carefully install the formed ends (2) of the fuel feed pipe into the sockets of the left hand and right hand fuel rails, taking care not to hit the formed end of the pipes on the threaded sockets on the rails.
- Hold the pipe firmly in place and hand tighten the fuel feed pipe fitting nuts (3) onto the threads on the fuel rails.
- Fuel Feed Pipe Bolt (4) - Install and tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
- Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Nut (3) @Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe (1) - Tighten [2x] 30 N.m (22 lb ft)
- Install the fuel feed intermediate pipe. Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Replacement - Position 1
- Install the fuel pump insulator. Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement
- Pressurize the fuel system and inspect for leaks.
