Installation Procedure

- Transfer components as necessary.
Position the fuel injection fuel rail assembly - bank 2 (1) into the cylinder head as evenly as possible.
Install the fuel rail with injectors (2) into the cylinder head evenly.
- Install and hand tighten the three fuel rail bolts (1) to seat the injectors in the injector bores.

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Tighten the fuel injection fuel rail bolts in the sequence shown to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Electrical Connector (2) @Fuel Injector Wiring Harness-Bank 2 - Connect
Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe (1) - Install NEW - Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Replacement
- Inspect for leaks using the following procedure:
- Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF for 2 seconds.
- Turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds.
- Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF.
- Inspect for fuel leaks.
