Removal Procedure

- Remove the turbocharger heat shield. Turbocharger Heat Shield Replacement (LSY)
- Remove the turbocharger coolant feed and return pipe. Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe Replacement (LSY)
Remove the turbocharger wastegate actuator spring (1).
- Remove the turbocharger wastegate actuator retainer (2).
- Remove the compressor air intake turbo wastegate actuator rod (3) from the turbocharger assembly.
Disconnect the turbocharger wastegate actuator electrical connector (1).
- Remove the 3 turbocharger wastegate actuator bolts (2).
Remove the turbocharger wastegate actuator (1) from the turbocharger assembly.
