Installation Procedure

Install the turbocharger wastegate actuator (1) to the turbocharger assembly.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Install the 3 turbocharger wastegate actuator bolts (2) and tighten to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in).
- Connect the turbocharger wastegate actuator electrical connector (1).
Install the compressor air intake turbo wastegate actuator rod (3) to the turbocharger assembly.
- Install the turbocharger wastegate actuator retainer (2).
- Install the turbocharger wastegate actuator spring (1).
- Install the turbocharger coolant feed and return pipe. Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe Replacement (LSY)
- Install the turbocharger heat shield. Turbocharger Heat Shield Replacement (LSY)
- If replacing with new, perform the turbocharger wastegate learn. Turbocharger Wastegate Learn
