Removal Procedure

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  2. Loosen the front floor console rear trim panel (1) enough to clear the tabs of the front floor console extension panel (2).
  3. Reposition the seat as necessary to access the retaining clips.
  4. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  5. Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Right Side (2) - Remove

    Loosen the front floor console rear trim panel (1) enough to clear the tabs of the front floor console extension panel (2).

  7. Reposition the seat as necessary to access the retaining clips.
  8. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the front floor console wiring harness.

  11. Front Floor Console Bolt (2) - Remove [3x]
  12. Front Floor Console Bracket Bolt (3) - Remove

    Front Floor Console Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove

  14. Front Floor Console Bolt (2) - Remove [3x]
  15. Apply the parking brake.
  16. Place the transmission control in the Neutral position.
  17. NOTE:

    The transmission control lever boot and knob are replaced as an assembly.

    Using a flat bladed trim tool, detach the manual transmission control lever boot (2) from the console.

  19. Lift the manual transmission control lever boot (2) to access the manual transmission control lever knob bolt (3).
  20. Remove the manual transmission control lever knob bolt (3), then lift off the manual transmission control lever boot and knob assembly (1, 2).

    With the aid of an assistant, lift the floor console (1) upward and rearward away from the instrument panel.
