Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 GE 47716)

    Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  3. Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Exchanger (2) @Thermostat Bypass Hose - Remove

    Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  5. Thermostat Bypass Hose (2) @Engine Oil Cooler - Remove
  6. Thermostat Bypass Hose (2) @Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Pipe - Remove
