Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill)

    Radiator Air Lower Baffle (1) - Remove - Radiator Air Lower Baffle Replacement (LSY)

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle (1) - Remove - Radiator Air Upper Baffle Replacement (LSY)

    Radiator Upper Bracket- Left Side (2) - Remove - Radiator Upper Bracket Replacement - Left Side (LGY, LSY)

    Radiator Upper Bracket- Right Side (3) - Remove - Radiator Upper Bracket Replacement - Right Side (LGY, LSY)

    Radiator Air Side Baffle - Left Side (1) - Remove - Radiator Air Side Baffle Replacement - Left Side (LSY)

    Radiator Air Side Baffle - Right Side (1) - Remove - Radiator Air Side Baffle Replacement - Right Side (LSY)

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Clip Bracket Bolt (4) @Engine Coolant Fan - Remove - Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Replacement (LSY)

    Without disconnecting the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger from the air conditioning condenser, remove the air conditioning condenser tube clip (2) from the engine coolant fan.

  10. Without disconnecting the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger from the air conditioning condenser, remove and support the air conditioning condenser from the radiator. Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement (LSY)
  11. Air Conditioning Condenser Bracket - Remove [2x] - Air Conditioning Condenser Bracket Replacement
  12. Remove and support the charge air cooler from the radiator. Charge Air Cooler Replacement

    Radiator Outlet Hose (2) Remove - Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LSY) 

  14. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer@Engine Coolant Fan - Remove
  15. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector - Disconnect

    Forward Lamp Wiring Harness (1) @Engine Coolant Fan Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect

    Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose (2) @RadiatorRemove - Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Replacement (LSY Radiator Surge Tank to Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Pipe and Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Pipe) , or Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Replacement (LSY Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Pipe to Radiator) 

  18. Radiator Inlet Hose@Radiator - Remove - Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LSY)

    Engine Coolant Fan Bolt (2) - Remove [4x]

  20. Engine Coolant Fan (3) @Radiator (1) - Remove

    Radiator (1) - Remove

  22. Transfer components as necessary.
