Removal Procedure

- Drain the coolant. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY GE 47716)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Remove the air cleaner assembly. (1) Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
Air Conditioning Condenser (1) - Remove - Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement (LGY)
Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)
- Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]
Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose and Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Pipe (2) - Remove
- Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Retainer (3) - Disengage
- Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose (4) - Remove
- Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (5) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Radiator Inlet Hose (6) - Remove
Retainer (1) - Remove
Radiator Outlet Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage
- Radiator Outlet Hose (2) @Engine Radiator - Remove
Radiator Air Front Lower Baffle (1) - Remove - Radiator Air Front Lower Baffle Replacement (LGY)
Engine Coolant Fan Module Radiator (1) - Remove
Engine Coolant Fan Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Engine Cooler Fan (2) - Remove
