Removal Procedure

- Drain the charge air cooling system. Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4)
Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (2) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Radiator Inlet Hose (1) @Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump - Remove
- Remove the left front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)
- Reposition the front portion of the left front wheelhouse liner. Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement , or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Blackwing)
- NOTE:
Some components not shown for graphic clarity.
Radiator Inlet Hose Clip (3) - Remove
- Using an appropriate tool, remove the radiator outlet hose retainer (1) from the radiator inlet hose connector.
- Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @Charge Air Cooler- Left Side - Remove
- Radiator Inlet Hose (2) - Remove
