Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill)
Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (1) - Remove - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe (2) @Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Inlet Pipe - Remove - Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe Replacement (LSY)
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (1) @Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Inlet Pipe - Disconnect
Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Pipe Bolt (2) - Remove [3x]
Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Inlet Pipe (1) - Remove
- Water Inlet Gasket (2) - Remove and DISCARD
- Transfer components as necessary.
