Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY GE 47716) 
  2. Turbocharger Heat Shield-Upper Left (1) - Remove - Turbocharger Heat Shield Replacement - Left Side Upper (LGY)

    Engine Coolant Heater Cord Retainer (1) @Engine Wiring Harness Bracket - Remove

  4. Engine Coolant Heater Cord Connector Retainer (2) @Engine Coolant Heater - Release
  5. Engine Coolant Heater Cord (3) @Engine Coolant Heater - Disconnect

    Release the engine coolant heater retainer (1).

  7. Engine Coolant Heater (2) - Remove
