Installation Procedure

    Engine Coolant Manifold Gasket (3) - Install NEW

  2. Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Pipe (2) - Install
  3. Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe Bolt (1) - Install, but do NOT tighten [2x]

    Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe Bolt (1) - Install, but do NOT tighten

    Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe (3) @Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve - Install

  6. Hose Clamp (2) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
    7. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  7. Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 8.5 N.m (75 lb in)

    Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe Bolt (1) - tighten 8.5 N.m (75 lb in)

    Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe Bolt (1) - Tighten [2x] 8.5 N.m (75 lb in)

    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

    Hose Clamp (1) - Engage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  12. Turbocharger Coolant Return Hose (4) @Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe - Install - Turbocharger Coolant Return Hose Replacement 
  13. Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose (3) @Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe - Install - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe to Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe) , or Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve to Engine Coolant Exhaust Heater Pipe) 
  14. Heater Inlet Hose (2) @Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe - Install - Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LSY) , or Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LGY)
  15. Hose Clamp (1) - Engage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

    Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe (1) - Install - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LGY) , or Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LSY Auxiliary Water Pump Inlet Pipe to Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose) , or Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LSY Engine Block to Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve) 

  17. Engine Wiring Harness Bracket - Install - Engine Wiring Harness Bracket Replacement
  18. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose - Install - Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement
  19. Intake Manifold Cover - Install - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement

    Plenum Front Panel (1) - Install - Plenum Front Panel Replacement (without Blackwing) , or Plenum Front Panel Replacement (with Blackwing)

  21. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 GE 47716) 
  22. Start the engine and check for leaks.
