Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the charge air cooling system. Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY) 
  2. Remove the left front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)

    Auxiliary Radiator Front Outlet Duct- Left Side (1) - Remove - Auxiliary Radiator Front Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side (LGY)

    Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @Charge Air Cooler - Remove - Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LGY) , or Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (RWD with LGY Radiator Inlet Pipe to Charge Air Cooler)

    Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose Retainer (2) Remove

  6. Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Hose (1) @Charge Air Cooler - Remove

    NOTE:

    The retainers (1) are removed by pushing them upward through the bottom of the inlet duct.

    Auxiliary Radiator Front Inlet Duct Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

    Charge Air Cooler Upper Insulator (1) - Remove [2x]

  9. Auxiliary Radiator Bracket Nut (2) - Remove [2x]
  10. Auxiliary Radiator Bracket Bolt (3) - Remove [2x]

    Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
