Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY GE 47716)
Engine Control Module Bracket (1) - Remove - Engine Control Module Bracket Replacement
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
Using an appropriate tool, remove the charge air cooler retainer (1) from the radiator outlet hose connector.
- Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Hose (2) @Charge Air Cooler - Remove
- Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Pipe Clip (3) - Remove
Radiator Outlet Hose Clip (3) - Remove
- Radiator Outlet Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Hose (2) @Radiator Outlet Hose - Remove
- Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Pipe (2) - Remove
