Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 GE 47716) 
  2. Remove the front bumper fascia. Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (without Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (with Blackwing)
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

    Radiator Inlet Pipe Clip (1) - Remove

  5. Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (2) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  6. Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (3) @Radiator Inlet Hose - Remove

    Using an appropriate tool, remove the charge air cooler retainer (1) from the radiator inlet hose connector.

  8. Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @Charge Air Cooler - Remove
  9. Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (2) - Remove
