Installation Procedure

Steering Column Tilt Wheel Actuator (3) - Install
- Steering Column Telescope Actuator Bracket (2) - Install
- Steering Column Telescope Actuator Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 6 N.m (53 lb in)
Steering Column Telescope Actuator Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] 6 N.m (53 lb in)
- Connect the electrical connector. (1)
Steering Column (2) - Install - Steering Column Replacement (N37) , or Steering Column Replacement (N38)
- After installation and before the steering column upper and lower trim covers are installed, relearn the soft and hard stops. Steering Column Tilt Wheel and Telescope Control Module Learn
CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
NOTE:
In order to relearn the steering column soft and hard stops, the steering column MUST be mounted and fastened and the steering column upper and lower trim covers CANNOT be installed.
