Installation Procedure

Intermediate Steering Shaft Boot (1) - Install

Intermediate Steering Shaft Boot Nut (1) - Install and hand tighten [3x]
- Intermediate Steering Shaft Boot Nut (1) - Tighten in sequence [3x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Air Conditioning System Sealing Washer (2) - Install NEW [2x]
- Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve - Install
Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Hose Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve - Install and tighten - Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Replacement (LSY) , or Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Replacement (LGY) , or Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Replacement (LT4)
Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (2) - Install
- Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Clip Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Replacement (LSY) , or Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Replacement (LGY) , or Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Replacement (LT4)
- Mid Intermediate Steering Shaft @ Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft - Install - Mid Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement (AWD) , or Mid Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement (RWD)
- Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
- Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
