Installation Procedure

Rear Suspension Upper Trailing Link (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Bolt (2) - Install NEW
- Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Nut (1) - Install, but do NOT tighten
- NOTE:

Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bolt (3) - Install NEW
- Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Nut (1) - Install, but do NOT tighten
- Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bolt (3) - Tighten
- First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
- Final Pass: 90 - 105 degrees
Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Nut (1) - Tighten
- First Pass: 70 N.m (52 lb ft)
- Final Pass: 90 - 100 degrees
Position the rear brake line (2).
- Rear Brake Hose Clip Bolt (3) - Install and tighten - Rear Brake Hose Replacement (J56, JL9) , or Rear Brake Hose Replacement (J6H) , or Rear Brake Hose Replacement (J57)
- Install the 2 electronic suspension rear vertical accelerometer retainers (1). Electronic Suspension Rear Vertical Accelerometer Replacement (FE4)
- Chassis Rear Wiring Harness - Install
- Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Clip (1) - Install [2x]
- Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
