Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)

    If equipped, unclip the 3 electronic suspension rear vertical accelerometer retainers (1). Electronic Suspension Rear Vertical Accelerometer Replacement (FE3)

    Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Clip (1) - Remove

  5. Chassis Rear Wiring Harness - Reposition

    Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Nut (1) - Remove

  7. Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bolt (3) - Remove and DISCARD

    Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Nut (1) - Remove

  9. Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove and DISCARD
