Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)

    {If equipped}Rear Brake Hose Clip Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  4. {If equipped} Reposition the rear brake line (2).
  5. Rear Wheel Speed Sensor@Rear Suspension Upper Control Arm - Remove - Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement (J56, JL9) , or Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement (J57, J6H)

    Rear Suspension Upper Control Arm Inner Nut (2) - Remove

  7. Rear Suspension Upper Control Arm Inner Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD

    Rear Suspension Upper Control Arm Outer Nut (1) - Remove

  9. Rear Suspension Upper Control Arm Outer Bolt (3) - Remove and DISCARD
