Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)
Disconnect the front suspension strut electrical connector (1).
- Remove the front wheel speed sensor harness retainer from the front suspension strut bracket.
Remove the electronic suspension wheel front vertical accelerometer (2) from the front suspension strut bracket. Electronic Suspension Wheel Front Vertical Accelerometer Replacement (FE2, FE3) , or Electronic Suspension Wheel Front Vertical Accelerometer Replacement (FE4)
Remove the brake hose fitting bolt (2) from the front suspension strut bracket and reposition the front brake hose. Front Brake Hose Replacement (J56) , or Front Brake Hose Replacement (JL9) , or Front Brake Hose Replacement (J57, J6H)
- Front Stabilizer Shaft Link@Front Suspension Strut - Remove - Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (FE3, FE4)
Steering Knuckle Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
- Steering Knuckle Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
Front Suspension Strut Upper Mounting Nut (1) - Remove [3x]
Front Suspension Strut (1) - Remove
- Transfer components as necessary.
