Installation Procedure

Front Lower Control Rear Link (3) - Install
- Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt (2) - Install NEW
- Front Lower Control Arm Rear Nut (1) - Install, but do NOT tighten
- Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bolt (2) - Tighten
- First Pass:100 N.m (74 lb ft)
- Final Pass:90 - 105 degrees
- NOTE:
Do NOT allow the ball stud to rotate while tightening the nut.
Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1) - Install and tighten
- First Pass:40 N.m (30 lb ft)
- Final Pass:120 - 135 degrees
Front Compartment Air Deflector (1) - Install - Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (RWD) , or Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (Blackwing)
Engine Front Splash Shield (3) - Install - Engine Front Splash Shield Replacement (RWD)
- Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
