Installation Procedure

Front Lower Control Front Link (1) - Install

CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (2) - Install NEW
Front Lower Control Arm Front Nut (1) - Install, but do NOT tighten
Reposition the engine auxiliary radiator assembly for installation.

{with LGY} Reposition the engine auxiliary radiator assembly.
1. Position the charge air cooler assembly in place.
2. Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x]Install and tighten - Charge Air Cooler Replacement - Left Side (LGY) , or Charge Air Cooler Replacement - Left Side (LT4)

{with LGY} Reposition the engine auxiliary radiator assembly.
1. Charge Air Cooler Upper Bracket Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Charge Air Cooler Bracket Replacement (LGY)
2. Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Charge Air Cooler Bracket Replacement (LGY)

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

NOTE:
Do NOT allow the ball stud to rotate while tightening the nut.

Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1) - Install and tighten
1. First Pass:40 N.m (30 lb ft)
2. Final Pass:120 - 135 degrees

Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (2) - Tighten
1. First Pass:100 N.m (74 lb ft)
2. Final Pass:90 - 105 degrees
If equipped, install the electronic suspension wheel front vertical accelerometer retainers to the front lower control front link. Electronic Suspension Wheel Front Vertical Accelerometer Replacement (FE2, FE3) , or Electronic Suspension Wheel Front Vertical Accelerometer Replacement (FE4)

Front Compartment Air Deflector (1) - Install - Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (AWD) , or Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (Blackwing)
