Removal Procedure

- Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, start at the front and work your way back to release the clips.
- Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Right Side (1) - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Use a small flat-bladed tool to depress the tabs on the back side of the switch (1) and push the switch out from the instrument panel outer trim cover.
- Instrument Panel Airbag Disable Switch (1) - Remove
