Installation Procedure

Connect the electrical connector.
Slide the sensor into the keyhole slot.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Airbag Side Impact Rear Sensor (1) - Install and tighten Fastener Specifications

Rear Seat Back Bolster (2) - Install
Rear Seat Back Bolster Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

Slide the rear seat back bolster retainer lock (1) toward the rear of the vehicle.

NOTE:
Reposition the front floor panel carpet as needed.

Starting at the front of the front side door sill garnish molding (1), engage the clip on the forward vertical wall and locator pin.
Work your way rearward engaging all the front side door sill garnish molding clips.
