Installation Procedure

- Parking Brake Actuator - Install - Parking Brake Actuator Replacement (J56, JL9)
Rear Brake Caliper (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Rear Brake Caliper Guide Pin Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
Rear Brake Hose (2) - Install@Rear Brake Caliper - Rear Brake Hose Replacement (J56, JL9)
Fastener (1) - Install
- Connect the electronic parking brake actuator electrical connector. (2)
- {If equipped} Rear Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor - Install - Rear Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor Replacement (JL9, J56)
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (J57, J6H, JL9) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (J56)
- Calibrate the park brake. Park Brake Calibration
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57)
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
