Assembly Procedure
- Lubricate the outer surface of the caliper pistons with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- NOTE:
Ensure the seal is not twisted.
Lubricate and install the 2 new caliper piston seals (1) with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- NOTE:

Lubricate and install the 2 new caliper piston seals (1) with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
Install the 2 caliper pistons (1) into the caliper bores.
- Carefully push the pistons squarely into the brake caliper housing bores.
Install the 2 caliper pistons (1) into the caliper bores.
- Carefully push the pistons squarely into the brake caliper housing bores.
Install the 2 new caliper piston boots (1) into the counterbores of the brake calipers.
- Seat the 2 new caliper piston boots (1) evenly and completely into the grooves in the caliper housing.
Install the 2 new caliper piston boots (1) into the counterbores of the brake calipers.
- Seat the 2 new caliper piston boots (1) evenly and completely into the grooves in the caliper housing.

- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (J56)
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Check the brake system for leaks.
