Installation Procedure

- Record the clutch calibration identification number. Transfer Case Identification
- Raise the transfer case into position.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Transfer Case Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
Transfer Case Stud (1) - Install and tighten [4x] 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
- Raise the transmission.
Transmission Mount (2) - Install - Transmission Mount Replacement (AWD)
- Remove the transmission jack from the transfer case.
- Remove the jack from under the transmission.
Connect the electrical connectors. (1)
- Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
- Front Axle Propeller Shaft - Install - Front Axle Propeller Shaft Replacement (LSY) , or Front Axle Propeller Shaft Replacement (LGY)
- Propeller Shaft - Install - Propeller Shaft Replacement (without LT4) , or Propeller Shaft Replacement (AWD)
- Refill the transfer case with fluid. Transfer Case Fluid Replacement
- Lower the vehicle.
- Program the module. K69 Transfer Case Control Module: Programming and Setup
- Enter 3 digit clutch calibration identification number when prompted.
