Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Reposition the rear wheel drive shaft. Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Left Side (without LT4) , or Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Left Side (with LT4)
1	Rear Axle Shaft Procedure Using the J-2619-01 Slide Hammer and the EN-24420-C Crankshaft Balancer Puller, remove the rear axle shaft. Using the appropriate tool, install the rear axle shaft Special Tools J-2619-01 Slide Hammer EN-24420-C Crankshaft Balancer Puller Equivalent regional tools: Special Tools
2	Rear Axle Shaft Clip Procedure Remove and DISCARD the clip.

Procedure

Using the J-2619-01 Slide Hammer and the EN-24420-C Crankshaft Balancer Puller, remove the rear axle shaft.
Using the appropriate tool, install the rear axle shaft
