Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57)

    Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect

  5. Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  6. Brake Hose Retainer (2) - Remove

    Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) - Remove

  8. Rear Brake Hose (2) - Remove
  9. Plug the caliper inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  10. Rear Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (3) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
