Installation Procedure

Front Brake Hose Washer (3) - Install NEW [2x]
- Remove the plug from the caliper inlet.
- Front Brake Hose (2) - Install
- Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) @ Front Brake Caliper - Install and tighten to 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (2) @ Front Suspension Strut - Install and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Retainer (1) - Secure [2x]
Brake Hose Retainer (3) - Install
- Remove the cap from the brake pipe fitting.
- Brake Pipe Fitting (2) - Install and tighten
- For Front Brake Pipe - Right Side, refer to: Front Brake Pipe Replacement - Right Side (without Blackwing) , or Front Brake Pipe Replacement - Right Side (with Blackwing)
- For Front Brake Pipe - Left Side, refer to: Front Brake Pipe Replacement - Left Side (without Blackwing) , or Front Brake Pipe Replacement - Left Side (with Blackwing)
- Retainer (1) - Secure [2x]
Engine Front Splash Shield (3) - Install - Engine Front Splash Shield Replacement (AWD) , or Engine Front Splash Shield Replacement (RWD)
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (J57, J6H, JL9)
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)
