Installation Procedure

    Front Brake Hose (1) - Install

    Remove the plug from the front brake caliper inlet.

  3. Front Brake Hose Washer (3) - Install NEW [2x]
  4. Front Brake Hose (1) @ Front Brake Caliper - Install
  5. Front Brake Hose Fitting (2) - Install and tighten to 40 N.m (30 lb ft)

    Remove the cap from the front brake pipe outlet.

  7. Front Brake Hose Retainer (2) - Install
  8. Front Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
  9. Front Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (3) - Install and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Install the front wheel speed sensor (3) at the 2 wiring harness retainers (2).

  11. If equipped, install the front disc brake pad wear sensor (4) at the 4 wiring harness retainers (1, 2).
  12. Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Engage [2x]
  13. {If equipped} Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Engage [2x]
  14. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (J57, J6H, JL9) 
  15. Check for brake system leaks.
  16. Engine Front Splash Shield - Install - Engine Front Splash Shield Replacement (AWD) , or Engine Front Splash Shield Replacement (RWD)
  17. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)
  18. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
