Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY GE 47716)
Air Cleaner Assembly (1) - Remove - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
Disengage the integral locking feature of the 2 heater hose clip brackets (1) and rotate downward.
Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (2) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Heater Outlet Pipe (1) @ Auxiliary Water Pump - Remove
Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Heater Outlet Pipe (2) - Remove
