Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging

    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Unfasten the engine harness (1) from the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket, and position out of the away.

  3. Unfasten the auxiliary generator battery jumper cable (2) from the lower air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket stud, and position away.

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Clip Nut (1) - Remove

  5. Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace - Left Side (3) - Remove - Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement (Impact Bar Bracket) , or Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement (Plenum with Blackwing)

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Hose Nut (1) - Remove

  7. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (2) - Remove
  8. Air Conditioning Evaporator Outlet Tube Seal (3) - Remove and DISCARD
  9. Air Conditioning Evaporator Inlet Tube Seal (4) - Remove and DISCARD

    Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Nut (1) - Remove

  11. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (2) - Remove
  12. Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Seal (3) - Remove and DISCARD

    Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove - Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose Replacement (LT4)

    Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) - Remove

  15. Air Conditioning Condenser Hose Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD
