Installation Procedure

    Air Conditioning Condenser Hose Seal (2) - Install NEW

  2. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Install

    Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Install - Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose Replacement (LT4)

    Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Seal (3) - Install NEW

  5. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (2) - Install
  6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  7. Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Nut (1) - Install and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Inlet Tube Seal (4) - Install NEW

  9. Air Conditioning Evaporator Outlet Tube Seal (3) - Install NEW
  10. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (2) - Install
  11. Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Hose Nut (1) - Install and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  12. Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace - Left Side (3) - Install - Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement (Impact Bar Bracket) , or Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement (Plenum with Blackwing)

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Clip Nut (1) - Install and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Fasten the auxiliary generator battery jumper cable (2) onto the lower air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket stud.

  15. Fasten the engine harness (1) onto the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket.
  16. Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging 
  17. Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
