Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging

    Unfasten the engine harness (1) from the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket, and position out of the away.

  3. Unfasten the auxiliary generator battery jumper cable (2) from the lower air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket stud, and position away.

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Clip Nut (1) - Remove [2x]

  5. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (2) - Remove

    Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace - Left Side (3) - Remove - Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement (Impact Bar Bracket) , or Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement (Plenum without Blackwing)

  7. Intake Manifold Cover - Remove - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Hose Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve - Remove

    Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve - Remove

  10. Air Conditioning System Sealing Washer (2) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]

    Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger - Remove - Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose Replacement (LSY) 

  12. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Clip Bracket Bolt (4) - Remove

    Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove - Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose Replacement (LSY)

    Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove

  15. Air Conditioning Sealing Washer (2) - Remove and DISCARD
  16. Remove the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger form the engine compartment.
