Removal Procedure

- Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
- Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube - Remove - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement
- Accessory Drive Primary Belt @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Remove - Accessory Drive Primary Belt Replacement
Disconnect the electrical connectors. (1)
Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Remove - Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose Replacement (LSY)
Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (1) - Remove
Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (1) - Remove
- Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (2) - Remove
- Maneuver the air conditioning compressor (3) out from the engine compartment.
- Inspect openings of air conditioning compressor ports and pipes leading to compressor for presences of metal particles. Determine next steps based on inspection. Air Conditioning Compressor Oil Diagnosis
- Transfer components as necessary.
