Installation Procedure

- It is necessary to perform the air conditioning compressor oil balance procedure when replacing the air conditioning compressor. Air Conditioning Compressor Oil Balancing
Maneuver the air conditioning compressor (3) into the engine compartment.
- Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (2) - Install and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (1) - Install and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (1) - Install and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Install - Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose Replacement (LSY)
Connect the electrical connectors. (1)
- Accessory Drive Primary Belt @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Install - Accessory Drive Primary Belt Replacement
- Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube - Install - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement
- Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
- Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
- Clear the DTCs.
