Installation Procedure

Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Coil (2) - Install
- Air Conditioning Clutch Coil Retaining Ring (1) - Install
Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Pulley (1) - Install
Air Conditioning Compressor Pulley Bearing Retaining Ring (2) - Install
- Air Conditioning Clutch Shim(s) (1) - Install
Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Drive Plate (2) - Install
- Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Pulley Bolt (1) - Install and hand tighten
- Adjust the air conditioning clutch drive plate air gap. Air Conditioning Clutch Drive Plate Adjustment (LGY)
- Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Pulley Bolt (1) - Tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
- Air Conditioning Compressor - Install - Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LGY)
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
- Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
NOTE:
Use the original shim count as a starting point to determine the proper air gap for the air conditioning clutch plate.
