DT-48285 Valve Body Torx Plus Socket

- CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
Automatic Transmission Fluid Baffle Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
- Automatic Transmission Fluid Baffle (2) - Remove
- The driven sprocket (3) locking tab is located on the back of the sprocket.
- Rotate the driven sprocket (3) as shown and simultaneously pull back and up on the tab indicated by arrow to release the retainer.
- Remove the driven sprocket (3) from the oil pump shaft leaving the drive link loose in the case.
Electrical Connector @ Automatic Transmission Control Wiring Harness (1) - Disconnect
- Manual Shift Detent Lever Spring Bolt (2) - Remove
- Manual Shift Detent Lever Spring (3) - Remove
- Electrical Connector @ Automatic Transmission Wiring Harness (4) - Disconnect
- NOTE:
Do not remove all the bolts in the control valve body assembly. Remove only the bolts indicated.
Use DT-48285 Valve Body Torx Plus Socket to remove the control valve solenoid body bolts.
- Control Valve Solenoid Body Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Control Valve Solenoid Body Bolt (2) - Remove [7x]
- Manual Valve (3) - Disconnect
- Control Valve Body Assembly (4) - Remove

This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
Use DT-48285 Valve Body Torx Plus Socket to remove the automatic transmission fluid baffle bolts.
- Automatic Transmission Fluid Baffle Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD [3x]
- Automatic Transmission Output Speed Sensor Wiring Harness (2) - Remove
- Clutch Housing Fluid Passage Seal (3) - Remove and DISCARD
Use care when handling the control valve body assembly. If dropped, damage to the control solenoid valve body assembly internal components may result.
