Circuit/System Description

The content theft deterrent system uses the content theft deterrent alarm to provide an audible alert when in the alarm mode. The content theft deterrent alarm receives a constant B+ and ground. The body control module commands the content theft deterrent alarm via serial data. The content theft deterrent alarm is also equipped with a battery backup. If it is disconnected while the ignition is OFF, the battery backup will allow the content theft deterrent alarm to sound the audible content theft deterrent alert.
