Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Operate the component: S13LF Door Lock Switch - Left Front - Unlock Switch
  3. Operate the component: S58A Rear Compartment Lid Unlatch Switch - Exterior @ E7 Rear License Plate Lamp - Pressed

    Verify the component produces a clicking sound: M40 Rear Compartment Lid Latch

    • If the component does not produce a sound 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the component produces a sound 
  4. All OK.
