Circuit/System Description

The Lighting Control Module (Lighting Control Module) supplies battery voltage to the LED lamps located under the outside rearview mirrors and each door handle assembly for approach lighting. When the unlock function is commanded on the keyless entry transmitter, a serial data message is sent to the Lighting Control Module. The Lighting Control Module responds to this input by illuminating the outside rearview mirror and door handle assembly courtesy lamps.
