Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment

- Cycle the sunroof window to the full open position.
- Cycle the sunroof window to the closed position.
Sunroof Air Deflector Cover- Left Side (1) - Remove
Sunroof Air Deflector Cover- Right Side (1) - Remove
Sunroof Window Bolt- Left Side (1) - Loosen [2x]
Sunroof Window Bolt- Right Side (1) - Loosen [2x]
Adjust sunroof window (1) to a uniform seal tension fore/aft and panel to panel.
- Adjust the corners of the sunroof window using the following guidelines:
- Adjust the front edge of the sunroof window (1) to 0.0 mm - 1.5 mm (0.0 in - 0.06 in) below the top surface of the roof panel.
- Adjust the rear edge of the sunroof window (1) to 0.0 mm - 1.0 mm (0.0 in - 0.04 in) below the top surface of the roof panel.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Sunroof Window Bolt- Right Side (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Sunroof Window Bolt- Left Side (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Cycle sunroof window to vent, then close.
- Cycle the sunroof window to the full open position.
- Cycle the sunroof window to the closed position.
- Using a 0.25 mm (0.01 in) shim or a similar item to check the sunroof window seal for even compression around the seal opening.
- If additional adjustments are needed, repeat steps 5 through 14.
- Water test and inspect sunroof for proper operation.
Sunroof Air Deflector Cover- Right Side (1) - Install
Sunroof Air Deflector Cover- Left Side (1) - Install
NOTE:
Correct adjustment cannot be achieved if the sunroof window is closed from vent position.
