Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Open the drivers door.
  3. Verify that the KR76 Accessory Time Delay Cutoff Relay cycles on and off while switching the ignition between Run Mode and Off, by verifying a click is heard and/or felt.
    • If a click is not heard and/or felt 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - KR76 Accessory Time Delay Cutoff Relay

    • Go to next step: If a click is heard and/or felt 
  4. NOTE:

    Use Wiring Schematics to determine the appropriate devices controlled by the KR76 Accessory Time Delay Cutoff Relay.

  5. Open the drivers door.
  6. Verify that the appropriate devices controlled by the KR76 Accessory Time Delay Cutoff Relay turn ON and OFF when cycling the ignition between Run mode and OFF.
    • Go to next step: If the devices do not turn ON and OFF 

      Go to next step: Refer to: The appropriate diagnosis for your device (s) that are inoperative.

    • Go to next step: If the devices turn ON and OFF 
  7. Verify that the KR73 Ignition Main Relay cycles on and off while switching the ignition between Run Mode and Off, by verifying a click is heard and/or felt.
    • If a click is not heard and/or felt 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - KR73 Ignition Main Relay

    • Go to next step: If a click is heard and/or felt 
  8. NOTE:

    Use Wiring Schematics to determine the appropriate devices controlled by the KR73 Ignition Main Relay.

  9. Open the drivers door.
  10. Verify that the appropriate devices controlled by the KR73 Ignition Main Relay turn ON and OFF when cycling the ignition between Run and OFF.
    • If the devices do not turn ON and OFF 

      Refer to: The appropriate diagnosis for your device (s) that are inoperative.

    • Go to next step: If the devices turn ON and OFF 
  11. A fault is not currently present and may be an intermittent condition.
